2018 IRC Skills Forecast – Key Findings Discussion Papers

The 2018 IRC Key Findings Discussion Papers, outlining the challenges, opportunities and skills issues facing our industries, are available for your feedback.

The deadline for input is fast approaching. Feedback closes 20 February.

The purpose of the discussion papers is to provide industry stakeholders with a summary of the key findings from industry consultations, a survey and other research activities overseen by the 11 Industry Reference Committees (IRC) that we support. These important documents identify the priority skill needs of industry and propose future Training Package development activity.

In considering the key issues and themes identified in the Key Findings Discussion Papers, AIS is keen to receive any feedback that either confirms issues have been covered or raises an issue you feel should be addressed.

This information will assist the IRCs to develop their respective 2018 IRC Skills Forecast and Proposed Schedule of Work, to be submitted to the Australian Industry and Skills Committee.
