A Business Case has been developed by the Public Safety Industry Reference Committee (IRC) setting out the strategic and evidentiary case (including an analysis of the level of industry support) for the development of new training products within the DEF Defence Training Package to address emerging skill needs in the Defence industry.
This Business Case has a focus on, but is not limited to, identifying the need for the development of new DEF Defence Training Package products for the expertise areas of Range Management, Defence Financial Management and Performance−Based Contract Management.
The Business Case will, in particular, provide the case for the new Training Package components and evidence as to why existing Training Package products, appropriately contextualised, are not able to meet the needs identified by the Department of Defence and the Public Safety IRC.
