Dan joined AIS following a military career specialising in the aviation sector. He served in a variety of roles within the Australian Army.

Dan joined AIS following a military career specialising in the aviation sector. He served in a variety of roles within the Australian Army for 14 years including as a helicopter crewman, helicopter flight instructor, training manager, training developer and operations manager across a wide variety of civil and military aviation roles – from the analysis and design of air crew and maintenance training, implementation of flight and ground crew training, to the evaluation and review of training courses.

Dan combines his industry and VET knowledge with his stakeholder engagement and communication skills to manage AIS’ services to industry. Dan holds a number of vocational training qualifications and business and management certificates achieved during his military career.
